Bakefile ships its processing engine (written in Rust, compiled to WebAssembly) inside the page itself. Your files are read by your browser, transformed on your machine, and the result is offered for download. No server ever sees them: unplug the network once the page is loaded and it still works. Only the paid processing on our servers, which you trigger yourself, sends your files.
