About Bakefile

Bakefile is a toolbox for everyday files: CSV and Excel to repair, PDFs to merge, photos to shrink, JSON to convert, subtitles to resync.

Nothing leaves your browser

The processing engine is written in Rust and compiled to WebAssembly. The page loads it and it runs on your machine: the free tools never send your files to a server. Your latest results are kept in your browser, on the History page, for as long as you choose.

Paid only when our servers do the work

When a file is too heavy for your device, you can choose to have it processed on our servers. That service is paid per processing, with no account or subscription; the preview is free and your files are deleted automatically. It only happens when you trigger it yourself.
